The fluctuating fuel prices have resulted in an increase in costs throughout the transport industry and in line with other operators a variable fuel surcharge was introduced in May 2003 The surcharge is based on the monthly average spot prices for kerosene/Jet fuel (Rotterdam ARA) as published by Thomson Reuters. Prices are expressed in USD cents per US gallon The surcharge varies by 0.5 per cent steps and is updated each month.
