Skynet Rider

Skynet Rider is an internal mobile application for authorized Skynet riders. The application allows riders to sign in using their assigned account, create and record delivery tracks, capture location information while recording tracks, scan barcodes using the device camera, and upload recorded tracks to Skynet's systems.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information collected through the Skynet Rider application.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the application, Skynet Rider may collect the following information:

Account Information

• User ID or assigned rider account ID
• Information required to authenticate your account

Location Information

• Precise device location, including GPS coordinates
• Location information collected while a rider is creating or recording a track

Location information is used to create and upload delivery tracks and to provide the tracking functionality of the application.

Device Information

• Device identifier, where available
• Device name
• Other device-related information required for application security and functionality

Camera and Barcode Information

• The application may access the device camera when a rider chooses to scan a barcode.
• Camera access is used for barcode scanning and is not intended for collecting personal photographs.

2. How We Use Information

Information collected through Skynet Rider may be used to:

• Authenticate authorized riders.
• Associate a rider with their assigned account.
• Create and record delivery tracks.
• Capture and upload location information associated with a track.
• Associate tracks with the appropriate rider and device.
• Scan barcodes when requested by the rider.
• Maintain application security and reliability.
• Troubleshoot technical problems.
• Prevent unauthorized access or misuse of the application.

We do not use information collected through Skynet Rider for third-party advertising or targeted advertising.

3. Location Information

Skynet Rider requires access to precise location information because location tracking is a core function of the application.

When a rider creates a track, the application may collect location information while the track is being recorded. This information may be uploaded to Skynet's systems and associated with the rider's account and track.

Riders can control location permissions through the iOS Settings application. Disabling location access may prevent track-recording functionality from working correctly.

4. Camera Access

Skynet Rider may request access to the device camera when a rider uses the barcode scanning feature.

Camera access is used to scan barcodes. The application does not use the camera for advertising or unrelated purposes.

5. Sharing of Information

Skynet Rider is an internal business application. Information collected by the application may be transmitted to and stored on Skynet's systems.

Information may be accessible to authorized Skynet personnel and service providers who support the operation, security, and maintenance of the application.

We do not sell personal information and do not share rider information with third parties for targeted advertising.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information collected through Skynet Rider from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain rider account, device, and track information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the application's functionality, maintain operational records, comply with applicable requirements, and address security or technical issues.

When information is no longer required, it may be deleted or securely disposed of according to our internal data-retention practices.

8. Data Deletion and Privacy Requests

Skynet Rider is an internal application for authorized Skynet riders.

If you want to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account, please contact your Skynet administrator or the appropriate Skynet support team.

9. Children's Privacy

Skynet Rider is an internal business application intended for authorized riders and employees. It is not directed toward children.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Skynet Rider application, our data practices, or applicable requirements.
